Introducing the Monthly Data Visualization Challenge: Showcasing Your Skills with sjvisualizer
I'm excited to announce a monthly data visualization challenge using my open-source data visualization library, sjvisualizer, which is available on GitHub. The challenge aims to encourage the use of this library and expand your skills in data visualization. Starting from May 2023, you can participate in this challenge every calendar month.
Participating is easy. First, create an original data visualization using the free sjvisualizer library. Second, share your visualization on Instagram, TikTok, or LinkedIn, using the hashtag #madewithsjvisualizer. Third, tag me in your post so that I can keep track of all entries.
Now you may be wondering, what's in it for you? The winning entry will be featured on my social media channels, which have over 100,000 combined followers, as well as on my website. Full attribution to the creator will be given. Winners are announced at the start of each calendar month.
For the first few months, there are no specific themes, but I might add some later to mix things up. The selection criteria for the winning entry will be based on clarity, impactful storytelling, relevance to recent events, mastery of the tool, and innovative ways to visualize data.
