With the FIFA World Cup well under way, let’s look at the most successful countries at the World Cup since the beginning.
As a proud Dutch man, it hurts that we are the most successful country without ever winning the tournament.
Some sidenotes:
- Germany includes West Germany from 1954 to 1990
- Czech Republic includes Czechoslovakia between 1934 and 1990
- Serbia includes Yugoslavia and Serbia and Montenegro between 1930 and 2006
Russia includes results from Soviet Union
